The UK Arts sector is facing a critical moment. Since 2017, arts funding from UK arts councils has been cut by 16% in real terms. Arts education continues to disappear from schools, with GCSE and A Level entries in arts subjects plummeting by 47% and 29% respectively since 2010. Young people and rural communities are particularly affected.
