MAD BAD LAB

OVERVIEW

Alongside developing new work for the stage, Mad Bad Productions has launched a new workshop programme focused on accessibility, creativity, and connection.

As a CIC, we are committed to making theatre accessible to all, building meaningful connections through storytelling across the UK. We offer one-day and three-hour workshops in schools, arts centres, town halls, and other creative venues, with a particular focus on rural communities that have limited access to arts training and creative spaces.

The MAD BAD LABS are designed as spaces to move, play, and create collaboratively — encouraging radical creativity and self-expression without judgement. Rather than formal theatre training, the sessions focus on connection with ourselves and others through games, breathwork, movement, and text exploration.

Open to everyone, whether new to theatre or returning to a lifelong passion, the workshops are designed to meet participants wherever they are in their creative journey.

FEEDBACKS

"The way Isabella structured the workshop was incredibly well thought-out and moved efficiently through the different exercises while still allowing for a lot creative expression. I also felt that Isabella had a lot of empathy and care for all of us involved."

"the people at the helm of Mad Bad are clearly very accomplished, talented and, importantly, have excellent leadership qualities, which is not always easy with a group. There's a very strong identity to the type of work you're doing and I think many people will respond to it the way I have."
