LITTLE BEAST — 2024
Our debut play Little Beast is a creative retelling the fascinating and tumultuous life of Lady Caroline Lamb, a woman whose defiance and love affair with poet Lord Byron captivated and scandalised her contemporaries.
We bring the past forward by introducing a modern counterpart. A woman of the same name born two hundred years later. Both worlds: the modern and the past, are places where the boundaries for passion and propriety are starkly drawn, but constantly transgressed. We meet Lady Caroline Lamb and Caro at the peak of their youth. Audiences will witness her passionate and ill-fated romance with Byron, a relationship which ignites both her creativity and her descent into madness.
Little Beast is an exploration of the human spirit’s resilience. We invite audiences to reflect on the timeless struggle for personal freedom and the price of nonconformity.

THE FERNYHOUGH ARTS REVIEWS
Combining traditional theatre, physical theatre and experimental theatre, this work hits the creative bullseye with everything it sets out to achieve. Tonally it flawlessly shifts from drama, to tragedy, to dark humour in the flick of a big haired heiress’s fan.
THE SMU REVIEWS
This inventive, original production succeeds on all fronts. The all-female cast are fantastic (…), the script is witty and perfectly paced (…). The direction and choreography, however, is perhaps the most unexpectedly welcome element of the show.
I would heartily recommend giving this wonderful production your time.
